 CHAPLET OF OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP

Prayed 3times daily after Angelus at 6am, 12midday and 6pm.

How to pray the Chaplet of Our Lady of Perpetual Help

The Chaplet of Our Lady of Perpetual Help is prayed on the regular Rosary of Mary.

Each decade has one prayer for the larger bead and another prayer that is said 9 times for the smaller beads. It goes as follows:

All standing throughout the prayer 

After the sign of the Cross:

All: Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, 

our life, our sweetness and our hope.

To you do we cry,

poor banished children of Eve. 


To you do we send up our sighs, 

mourning and weeping in this valley of tears 

Turn then, most gracious advocate,

your eyes of mercy toward us,

and after this exile

show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb,

Jesus.

O clement, O loving, 

O sweet Virgin Mary. Amen. 

On the Glory- Be beads:

Leader: "Mary has helped us,

Mary wants to help us,

All: Mary can help us, and 

Mary will help us."

On the hail Mary beads:

Leader:

Our Lady of perpetual help.

Response All: pray for us. 9times

After completing the five decades of nine beads each as in the Holy Rosary,.

Concluding prayer:

All: Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, we fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, our mother; to thee do we come, before thee we stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not our petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer us.

Leader: Come Lord Jesus;

All: The Way, the Truth and the Life.

Leader: In the Name of the Father;

All: And of the Son and of the Holy Sprit. Amen. 

Short Version. 

The Short version of this prayer consist of skipping "Hail Holy Queen..." at the beginning and Starting from "Mary has helped us...".

Every other part of this prayer is retained and maintained. 

Note: Every CDP Prayer ends with "Come Lord Jesus..." before the sign of the Cross.

 Eucharistic Chaplet. This is a purely personal prayer which must be prayed before mass by every communicants time 5:30am, or for individual during mass at the time of Presentation of gifts can also be prayed in group , when in agreement, few minutes before any mass. Cleansing soul chaplet

 Cleansing soul chaplet.
